2nd Annual Cardiac Update & Diabetes Forum - Halifax
Saturday, May 30, 2009 and Saturday, June 13, 2009
Delta Halfax | 1990 Barrington Street | Halifax, Nova Scotia
We would like to extend a personal invitation for you to attend two dynamic Continuing Medical Education events:
· Cardiac Update - Saturday, May 30, 2009 - Delta Halifax
· Diabetes Forum - Saturday, June 13, 2009 - Delta Halifax
Over 2 million Canadians have cardiovascular disease and over 1 million have diabetes (as many as 6 million may have metabolic syndrome). Next year 75,000 will experience an MI and many others will have a stroke or will die. Up to date management of patients at risk for cardiovascular events is of utmost importance and that is why we have created an annual opportunity for you to review the emerging trends in the management of these patients.
By attending the Cardiac Update and Diabetes Forum, you will have access to the cutting edge of cardiovascular medicine and diabetes care, as well as an opportunity to discuss all aspects of high-risk patient management relevant to you and your patients. Based on prior comments, we have shortened each presentation to 20 minutes, including interactive response systems, practical case-based learning and have increased the time for panel discussion to ensure that all of your questions are answered.
We hope you will play an important part in this initiative and will join us at the Cardiac Update and Diabetes Forum, which have been some of the most popular accredited activities over the years.
With best regards,
